Jeff Anderson was born and raised in Marietta, Georgia. At an early age, he began singing at church services with his family and it soon became clear that he was an exceptionally talented vocalist. After being gifted a guitar by his parents, Anderson taught himself how to play and he quickly began writing songs. He also began playing piano and as a young student was granted a college scholarship for music. He went on to win several singing competitions, including the AGMA award for Best Male Vocalist and Best Song.
As his artistry developed, Anderson realized his heart for ministry and started leading worship. While leading at different churches, he caught the attention of several Christian record labels and ended up being signed by Toby Mac owned Gotee Records. Anderson's debut album "Seamless" scored a top ten AC hit with his first single "Open My Eyes" and also garnered a first round Grammy nomination. He hit the road and toured for several years playing with artists like Mercy Me, Third Day, Martin Smith and Phil Wickham. After years of heavy touring, Anderson took a break to be a full time worship leader but continued to write songs.
He then released the critically acclaimed album, "In the Shadow" on AMA Label Group. Gaining licensing placements on television and film, Anderson also began touring regularly again, playing over 200 dates a year.
Anderson married his desire for worship ministry and artistry by touring with regularly scheduled stops at key churches and continuing to write and record music. Next, he returned to his childhood roots recording a popular hymns record called "You Make My Whole Heart Sing". His re-imagining of classic hymns and original music became his most successful album to date.
He hit the studio again recording a beloved Christmas album called "Home". After it's release, Anderson became in high demand during the holiday season and now plays several Christmas events every year, including making regular stops at AC radio station KSGN-Riverside for their annual Christmas toy drive.
In 2020, Anderson released highly anticipated and 100% fan funded record "All Things New". His latest album features hit singles, "Our King is Coming", "I Will Wait" and "Great Things". Following the warm reception and success of "All Things New", Anderson continues to play special worship services, conferences and events all over the country. He also enjoys licensing opportunities with film and TV, furthering his ministry exposure and creating new writing opportunities with other artists.
Anderson is currently working on a new project titled "His Name is Jesus" slated for release in the fall of 2022.
He continues to reside in beautiful southern California with his family and is busy touring as a guest worship leader all over the world.
